On 14 April, Cadet Len, Cadet Sampher, Cadet Rutt and Corporal Genc went flying at RAF Benson. From what we have heard it was a fascinating experience and very educational. Well done to you all for your participation!
Cadet Len: “The flying was an amazing experience; it was so much fun and I had the opportunity to learn about controlling the aircraft, steering it and all the different safety procedures.”
Cadet Rutt: ”It was really good at first I was really nervous but as I got in the plane my nerves settled. The plane was really fast and really easy to fly. The pilot was very friendly. It was a very good day”
Additionally, the same week on the 16 Cdt Elbruda, Cpl Hayne, Cdt Milton and Cdt Barton took part in gliding in Vikings at RAF Kenley.
A very well done! There will be multiple more opportunities for the rest of our cadets.
