The weekend of the 24th – 25th June saw the culmination of 7 months hard work and commitment from the 98 strong Kent Wing ATC Nijmegen Contingent.
Cadets and Staff participate in the four-day, 100 miles, international march alongside regular military personnel and civilians from across the world and is the world’s largest multiple day marching event.

250 extremely proud families, friends and supporters saw the six teams Pass Out of their training with the Wing President Air Marshal CM Nickols CB CBE DL MA FRAeS as their Reviewing Officer.

It was with great honour that the A Team were presented with the Cosford Trophy, for Best ATC Team at the 2017 WARMA March.
In addition, Cpl Taylor, of 402 (Gravesend) Squadron, was awarded the Birch Trophy, presented to the Cadet who has shown outstanding teamwork, as voted by their peers.
The Wing Band supported the parade and entertained our guests with a fantastic programme of music, both marching and static.
Grateful thanks go to the Nijmegen Staff Team, who tirelessly support the cadets throughout this whole activity. Without Flt Lt Chris Tate and his Team, it wouldn’t be the immense success it is. Congratulations to you all!

In a little under three weeks, the largest ever contingent from Kent Wing will head off to Holland to take part in the Marches and continue to make us all very proud of you.

Everyone in Kent Wing wishes you all the best of luck and look forward to hearing of your progress.
