With effect from 1 Nov 2016, Air Marshal Chris M Nickols CB CBE DL MA FRAeS, has kindly accepted the role of Kent Wing Honorary President.  This follows our previous President, Mr JG Cluff DL deciding to step down from the position following a number of years service.  OCKW, Wg Cdr Goodayle, on behalf of the Wing thanks Mr Cluff for his service and we all wish him well for the future.

Air Marshal Nickols has had a long and distinguished career with the RAF and latterly with the RAF Benevolent Fund. He attended our Wing 75th Anniversary Parade and Service in Canterbury and he, with his wife Janette, joined 2235 Deal Sqn Cadets to meet the 75th Anniversary Torch on its stop at Deal Castle in August.
We look forward to seeing him at Wing events in the coming months.
