The Kent Wing Band has completed its first public engagement since being reformed in March 2014.
The band led the Freedom Parade held in Ashford of the 133 Field Company (REME) Army Reserve. The Parade marched to the bandstand where it was inspected by 2 Brigade Deputy Commander, Colonel Ingrid Rolland, The Mayor of Ashford, Councillor David Smith, and Deputy Lieutenant for Kent, Colonel (Retd) Peter Bishop OBE DL.
All those on the parade were very impressed with the Kent Wing Band, parade commander, Major P Linehan said it was a pleasure to march behind them, they were fantastic.
Colonel Rolland thanked the cadets for giving up their Saturday for the parade and said they were absolutely fantastic.
